Have You Seen the “Christo” in Rio?

Christo Redemptor

I thought I would only see it in movies. Three days ago I found myself standing at the foot of its pedestal, myself taken aback by its more than majestic view.

The Christo Redemptor, or Christ the Redeemer/Savior in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil is one of the most iconic statues of all time. Named as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, it stands 130 ft and 30 metres wide, weighs 635 tons and is located at the peak of the Corcovado mountain in the Tijuca Forest National Park.

Allow me to share with you my once-in-a-lifetime experience through this video:

Seeing this magnificent tourist attraction has been a long time dream for me. Having been born in a rural village in the Philippines, I never thought that I would spend my life trotting around the globe. (You can read more about this in my book “The Tale of Juliet”) But my dreams did came true. And I thank God for it!

What is your dream?

BELIEVE AND YOU CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN!
