An Interview with “Manifesting for Non-Gurus” Author Robert Macphee

Almost sleepless, working round-the-clock, and yet he still has smiles, hugs, and  much more to give. Robert Macphee, a sought after speaker and author, and Jack Canfield’s director for training, graciously sat down with me to share his wisdom and learnings during the Breakthrough to Success Seminar in Scottsdale, Arizona.

I was so impressed by this gentleman’s calmness and brilliance when he led the seminar attendees as Jack Canfield’s co-facilitator. He was also the mind behind IHUG, a practice that encourages all attendees to share the love and warmth by simply giving a friendly hug throughout the seven-day seminar. I couldn’t help but find out who he really was. At the end of one day’s session,  I seized the moment and asked if I can have few words with him. Watch the wealth of wisdom that he has to share here:

Macphee is the Founder and President of Heart Set, Inc. a company dedicated to helping people live the life of their dreams. He has worked closely with Jack Canfield for the past 10 years, most recently as the Director of Jack’s year long Platinum Inner Circle and Train the Trainer programs. Robert is also responsible for the staffing and logistics of all of Jack’s live training events and co-facilitates many of those events.

He recently penned the book “Manifesting for Non-Gurus”, an easy to read book designed to help people of all ages to quickly and easily attract the lasting results they really want.  A loving husband and father of three children, Robert is also a marathon runner who lives with his family in San Diego, California.

Breakthrough to Success Seminar by Jack Canfield Works!

Just like an engine, we need to tune and rev up our lives for it to work at its optimum, best condition. Life’s distractions often cause us to lose sight of our goals and move away from our dreams – and some stay long forgotten.

Even as a speaker and author, I make sure that I learn from the best mentors. Last year, I attended Jack Canfield’s Breakthrough to Success Seminar in Scottsdale, Arizona. Did my breakthrough came? A 100% YES! As long as I stay tuned to my goals and apply the learnings I gained from the seminar, nothing is impossible to achieve.

Here’s my personal testimonial on Jack Canfield’s AWESOME BTS program. To know more, visit https://ctg.infusionsoft.com/go/BTS2011/Jhet/. A registration page to the August 14-20, 2011 Seminar is also available.

10 Days of Silence: My Vipassana Meditation Retreat

Jhet van Ruyven meditating

“Everyone seeks peace and harmony, because this is what we lack in our lives… Unhappiness permeates the atmosphere around someone who is miserable, and those who come in contact with such a person also become affected. Certainly this is not a skillful way to live.”

The Art of Living – Vipassana Meditation

“When you meditate, the silence of the senses illumines the presence of God within.”

About Vipassana

Vipassana, which means to see things as they really are, is one of India’s most ancient techniques of meditation. It was taught in India more than 2500 years ago as a universal remedy for universal ills, i.e., an Art of Living. For those who are not familiar with Vipassana Meditation, an Introduction to Vipassana by Mr. Goenka and Questions & Answers about Vipassana are available. The technique of Vipassana Meditation is taught at ten-day residential courses during which participants learn the basics of the method, and practice sufficiently to experience its beneficial results.

There are no charges for the courses – not even to cover the cost of food and accommodation. All expenses are met by donations from people who, having completed a course and experienced the benefits of Vipassana, wish to give others the opportunity to also benefit.* (http://www.dhama.org)

I’ll be back in 10-days!
